My Beautiful Sister

I wanted to get some experience taking pictures of adults, so I made my sister get dolled up and do some posing. I had a lot of fun with her and she was really good because I had no idea what I was doing and she was really patient. Thanks Talyn!! I love you!!

Bailie and Cougar were running in the sprinklers and playing in the pool at my parents' house, so I grabbed my camera....

Sleeping Beauty

I don't know why, but Bailie has been having trouble falling asleep. She screams for at least 30 minutes every night when I lay her down. She fights and fights even if she is really tired. We give her a bottle before we lay her down for bed. Bailie was cuddling with dad last night on the couch and she fell asleep.

More

Here are some more pictures I took recently... Bailie and my nephew Cougar are fun subjects to photograph. I'm sure they get pretty sick of it though. Let me know what you think!

Experimenting

I don't know if a lot of you know, but I LOVE photography. I really want to get into it and become good enough so I can do something with it! So Deveren bought me a really nice camera as an early birthday present (thanks honey!), and I have been experimenting with my camera... Keep in mind I am not very good yet, but practice makes... better, right? I took these last weekend when we went with the Kimball's to the park.

Washington DC Trip

I have been trying to get all of the pictures from my trip gathered so I can pick the best ones to post. My sister and I took SO MANY PICTURES.... We were there from the 3rd through the 11th.... We took over 1000 pictures!!! It was actually pretty ridiculous... but SO fun!
I went with my younger sister, my mom, my grandma, and
There were so many amazing things that we got to see.
Here are some of the places we saw:
Washington Memorial
Lincoln Memorial
Jefferson Memorial
National Cathedral
Fourth of July Parade
Concert at the Capitol (Huey Lewis and the News, Taylor Hicks)
Tour of the Capitol
White House
Arlington Cemetery
World War I Memorial
World War II Memorial
Korean War Memorial
The Spy Museum
Chinatown
And we got to ride on the double decker bus, which was really fun!

I have greater respect for all of the men and women that did serve and now serve our country... This trip opened my eyes to A TON of things. I think everyone that lives here needs to go and see all of the historic sites to get a better understanding of what these people really went through. I will never forget it.
Thank you to all who have ever served and who will serve. You have my prayers, love, and support.

I LOVE these pictures that Katie took of Deveren while we were in California... Isn't my hubby a babe?
