My Parental Unit of the Female Kind

This last week my sweet Grandma came over and we planted our garden. I am so happy that I will actually be here while it's growing and I get to be the one to take care of it :)
We have a bunch of herbs (dill, parsley, cilantro, and basil) and we also planted lettuce, tomatoes, beans, bell peppers, banana peppers (my favorite!!) and a couple other things I can't remember right now.
We still need to plant chard, carrots, and beets.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl that was unlucky in love.
She was having a hard time in this department.
Her WONDERFUL sister decided she needed a man in her life.
This sister got her her very own Prince Naveen.
A few years later she met a man.
(Enter Colby Crabtree)
They fell in love.
He proposed to her.
They will live happily ever after starting August 10th.

Talyn decided that she would pass down Prince Naveen to Bailie since she has her prince now :)
So sweet

I met up with my good friend Annie for lunch and it was SO good to catch up with her and her cute little girl Hallie.

A few days before Mothers Day I received a package in the mail.
It didn't say who it was to, it just had my address.
It was from Texas.
I thought maybe Dev had sent some paperwork back home or some things he didn't need.
It wasn't.

He knows me SO well! LOTS of candy, 2 movies, earrings and a necklace
He also got the kids new toothbrushes, bracelets, a water toy, and paddle boards for swimming this summer.
Thanks so much baby!!
We LOVE our gifts.

Speaking of swimming, the kids took swimming lessons for 2 weeks.
This is Zach, their teacher.

To sum up their time at swimming lessons, watch this video...

It was kind of a nightmare.
Ok, it WAS a nightmare.
They cried almost the entire time every single day.
Zach was such a trooper.
I think he went deaf in his right ear from all of the screaming.
He did a great job and was so patient with them...

I will say that because of swimming lessons both of them are more comfortable in the water and Bailie will put her head under the water and blow bubbles now.
That is saying a lot because if you know Bailie at all she HATES getting her head wet, even in the tub.
A big thank you to Zach for helping her with that!

On Mothers Day we went to church with my parents and spent the day with them.
It was lovely.
We relaxed outside and played with some of my new picture apps.
I am so grateful for my amazing Momma.
She is my hero for so many reasons.
She is one tough lady (Physically and mentally)
She is so positive ALL THE TIME.
She always makes time for me when I need her.
She is BEAUTIFUL inside and out.
She is a hard worker.
She is kind.
She is my best friend.

Our Week

Last week Bailie's "want" came true.
She got to have a play date with her boyfriend Desmond!!!

When I went to get Bailie from Preschool I picked him up too (his Mom is the preschool teacher).
Brek was the 3rd wheel.... Poor guy

We got Wendy's for lunch and brought it home with us.

They played with window markers

Played Guess Who

And they played Dora Dance on the Kinect.

Des is the sweetest boy to Miss B. They had a great time together and Bailie won't stop talking about how much fun she had when Desmond came over!!
When his mom came to pick him up, she didn't want him to leave and ran outside yelling "Love you Des!" and "I'll see you at school in 2 days"over and over again.
I think it was a success.

On Friday night, the kids and I met up with my Mother in law, Aunt Tammy, and Grandma Borgia for dinner. It was so much fun seeing them while they were in town for Women's Conference.
Thank you for all of you help at dinner :)

I got a text from my friend Rachel on Saturday morning inviting us to go to Kangaroo Zoo with her and her family... We had free a bunch of free admission passes to go (thank you Deveren and your trade work) so it was free!! Can't beat that right?
The kids always have the best time there

On Sunday we went to church then headed up to my parents' house to eat and spend the afternoon with them. We played outside in the backyard, and went on a nice walk around their ward boundaries.

Bailie was helping push Brek

Parents :)

Brek got sick and puked 2 nights in a row... He did A LOT of this yesterday

Bailie's good friend Cher turned 5 and had an ice cream sundae birthday party! They played games, ate lots of yummy ice cream, and made those cute necklaces out of bubble gum and ribbon!
Too cute
