We got to spend the Fourth of July in our Nation's Capitol.
In the morning, the girls took the metro to the parade.

I thought this was really cool too.
After the parade we went to Pentagon City and got lunch.
Then we headed back to the National Mall to get a spot for the fireworks.

AH hahaha! I love this. So dang much. This totally brings back memories--only the last time we were there it was so bloody hot we about died and then we got poured on and it was so bloody sticky we about died. Oh, the good old days!
I AM jealous. 1) that you were there this time around without me and 2) that you are so TAN! It's kind of ridiculous. Let's just see who's winning that contest by the end of the summer, missy.

Totally makes me jealous! Oh DC, how I love you. I have a brother and sister-in-law moving out that way (about 30 min from DC) and I'm trying to convince my husband we should join them. :) Glad you had a fun 4th!
