Swiss Days... The Results Are In!!

Ok, so I probably should have explained what Swiss Days is. It's a huge craft show up in Midway, Utah. It is 2 days and there are about 80,000 people taht come... They have swiss food and music, along with 100 booths selling different crafty items. You have to apply to be in it 8 months in advance. So it's a pretty big deal.
Last year her sold spiders, pumpkins, picture frames, flower bouquets, squirrels, and brought some of his bed frames up to show that he does custom work too. (He brought up other stuff too but I can't remember them all.) He did ok, but he got his name out there which is more important!! Deveren did win one of the 10 "Best Booth" awards so he was automatically accepted the following year (meaning this year) which was good... but we didn't do as well as we wanted...
This year I am happy to report that it was a sucess! He is pleased with how it turned out! He brought some of the same stuff up like spiders, pumpkins, flower bouquets, and squirrels... and made some new things too. Snowmen and christmas trees!! He sold out of the pumpkins and spiders, and had a few flowers left. It went really well! I am so proud! I have the hardest working husband!
I took a few pictures while I was up there today... Swiss Days is a really fun place!

Sick of Bailie...?

Swiss Days

Dev left a few hours ago for Midway.... It's that time again. Swiss Days has come upon us. Super fun huh? Deveren has worked so hard for this.... I hope things go well! Wish us luck!

Ouchy Mommy

Bailie wanted to play outside in our backyard, so we went outside. She was practicing going up and down the steps that we have back there, and the last time she did it she went way too fast and hit her face on the leg of one of the chairs. Dev picked her up and hugged her and she was fine. It looked REALLY bad right after it happened... Here are some pictures a few minutes after.
When we went inside, she would touch her cheek and say "Ouchy mommy ouchy". It was sad, but cute.

Isn't the the cutest? He is almost a month old in these... I am so grateful he is happy, healthy and home now! He is such a sweet little guy. I love you baby Beckett!
I am taking more tomorrow of Beckett and Cougar together. We'll see how it goes.

Eye Love Them

I don't know if anyone has paid any attention to Bailie's eyes, but they are the coolest color I have ever seen. They are blue on the outside with gold flecks in the middle. They are so pretty. I thought this picture made them look really cool.

Cute Baby Tyce

We went over to a friend's house and they have a 2 month old baby, so I decided to get some practice taking pictures of tiny babies... It was a lot harder than I thought it would be! I think it's the hardest age for me to photograph. They don't do what they tell you to do... But he is so precious. Thanks Glenn and Amber! I hope you like them.

'Halyn'

Here's another photo shoot I had with my sister and her best friend. Aren't they adorable in all of their jewels? They had fun props to use so it made it a lot of fun to take pictures! A lot of these are Talyn and Haley being Talyn and Haley! They are BEST FRIENDS and you can tell in these pictures!! I should really start calling them "Halyn" or "Taley". I hope you guys like these! I sure love you girls!

Advil PM

Monday morning I woke up with a really bad sore throat, so I gargled with salt water, sprayed chloraseptic spray on my throat, and drank lots of Airborne. It didn't seem to help. That night I woke up about 17 times because my neck hurt so bad! The next day I woke up and couldn't move my neck. I went to the doctor and he says I have "signs of strep throat". They tested me for strep, and it came back negative. He said since it isn't strep, it is either a viral or bacterial infection. So he gave me antibiotics. Apparently my glands are so swollen, it made my neck muscles really really sore. Excellent.
It got worse and worse as the night went on, so at about 9:30 I had my dad and hubby give me a blessing. My mom brought over my new best friend.... Advil PM. She told me I wouldn't budge til 7 or 8... Boy was she right!! I slept SO well! It was amazing. I definitely recommend it!

Amy and Chase

It had been awhile since I had seen one of my best friends, Amy, so we got together and had a yummy barbeque. Amy brought her really nice boyfriend Chase so we could meet him... It was a lot of fun! After dinner we went outside and played my favorite card game 5 Crowns... I took some pictures of them and they turned out cute. Amy, we had a blast and should get together again soon! I love you girl. I hope you like them!

Ice cream... Mommy screams!!

After church Bailie grabbed the ice cream container from the garbage can and went to town! Naturally, the only thing I could think to do was to grab it from her and clean her up, but Dev, being the fun dad that he is, just told me to get the camera and let her play for a minute. I was so glad I did! This was a priceless moment.

Pool Party
