Let me just say we had a fabulous Thanksgiving! In the morning, Dev went to play football with Carlson's family so Bailie and I went to watch. Bailie hated that she couldn't go on the field with her dad, but we still had fun watching them play. We went up to my Uncle Lowell and Aunt Barb's house that afternoon to have our big feast. We had so much good food. There was a pretty big group of us together for Thanksgiving which was really fun. My Aunt and Uncle from Texas came,some of my cousins, and my grandparents from Idaho also came. We relaxed, ate yummy food, played games, ate some more, and had good conversation with family. It was so much fun! I hope you all had a GREAT Thanksgiving!!!

It's Official

Ok, so you all know how much I love photography. I can't get enough of it. For the first time in my life I have found something that I am passionate about and that I am good at. I have decided to do something HUGE...

Call me crazy, but I am starting a photography business! I am so excited!! It is a little scary... Ok A LOT scary, but it is something that I love to do, so here goes nothing!!!

Ben, Erica and Ethan

Ben, Erica, and little Ethan.... This photoshoot was action-packed! I got a great workout chasing cute Ethan around.... He was really fun to watch. I think the pictures show off his adorable personality.
Ben and Erica are a beautiful couple! As you can see, they are VERY easy on the eyes, so it wasn't hard to make them look great! Thanks again for letting me take these for you guys!

Big Boy

I babysat my nephew Beckett this morning for a few hours while my sister got her hair done. He is such a good baby to watch. But when he is hungry you have about 5 seconds to get a bottle for him or he starts crying... The boy doesn't mess around when it comes to food. Because of his love of food, he is a big boy! Bailie sat in his caarseat and wanted to hold him so I laid him on top of her. He looks bigger than Bailie in this picture!

First of all, I want to say how amazing my husband is. Not only is he an wonderful father and husband, but he is an unbelievable artist. He made this last night....



After 3 years of seeing him build these amazing sculptures, I am still blown away by his talent. This guitar has got to be one of my favorite sculptures. It is almost 8 feet tall and pretty much the coolest guitar I have ever seen!!! I love it because it is HUGE and you can tell exactly what it is the second you look at it. I love all of cool tools that Deveren uses to create it.






Isn't he such a stud? Dev, I think you are unbelievable! I love you baby.

Mom and Dad

I have the greatest parents in the ENTIRE world! I don't know how I got so lucky, but I did. I look up to them in so many ways. They are the best people I know. Mom and Dad, I love you both so much! Thank you for ALL you do for me and my family.

Last weekend we were at my parents' house just hangin out. My mom was wrapping christmas presents and she had a box of packaging peanuts next to her... My mom got my attention without Bailie noticing and told me to get my camera and watch her.... This is what I saw.

Family Photo Shoot

I had the privilege of photographing this adorable family in my ward. They asked me to take their family pictures about a month ago and we had to keep postponing it because things kept coming up, but we finally arranged a time and got together! It was lots of fun chasing the girls around while they played in the leaves, fed ducks, and took turns swinging on the swings!

Cowgirl Haley

I am really excited about these pictures! Haley is my little sister's best friend and pretty much part of our family... We had a lot of fun last night at this photo shoot. She is SO easy to photograph. Obviously very easy on the eyes... Yes boys, she's single! I love you Miss Haley and I hope you love these.

Last Week

It has been a while since I have blogged.... It has been quite a week! Deveren and Bailie left Thursday morning for California to go to his best friend Brandon's wedding. They stayed with Dev's parents and had a lot of fun! They visited Brad and Katie (our good friends), went trick-or-treating, and got to see Deveren's brother Sam and his family.

Ok so I should probably tell you why I couldn't go. Most of you don't know that I was 9 weeks pregnant.... I went to the doctor and they did an ultrasound and there was no baby. I miscarried the next day... I don't like people feeling bad for me that's why I didn't say anything earlier.
It was really hard to go through it, but it made me and my family stronger. I'm so grateful I have the gospel in my life and I know what happens after this life. I am feeling a lot better (physically and emotionally) and hope to be back to normal soon.

Now back to the exciting stuff! Deveren went to Brandon and Tonya's wedding (as the best man) and since I couldn't be there, he took some pictures for me so I could edit them and see what I could do with them! FYI: This is NOT my good camera... it's a point and shoot one, so this is the best I could do!

Sam's family came up to spend Sunday with the family.

While Dev and Bailie were in California, I moved to my mom and dad's house for the week. I watched movies, and tons of episodes of NCIS... I pretty much relaxed the whole time. It was SO nice! I really missed my fam and I am so glad they are home!!

I'm so sorry to everyone in Cali for not being there... I was SO SO sad when the doctor told me I shouldn't go... Especially sorry to Aunt Paralee and Uncle Tom, Courtney and Corey! I will make it up to you! Love you all and Thank you so much for the phone calls, flowers, love and support!
