Halloween Parties

Deveren's cousin was having a Halloween Party and invited us to go, and our ward was having their annual party, so I had to find a costume... quick. It was actually really fun to dress up in 80's clothes... Jean jacket and skirt, high ponytail to the side, tie-die shirt pulled to the side with a scrunchie, and leggings.... I even had the Madonna lace gloves!




Bailie was a lion. She was the hit of our ward party. She looked pretty dang cute. The whole night all she would say was 'Rarrr!' (Like a lion)

Cupcakes

A few days ago I had a sweet tooth so I decided to make cupcakes. I made vanilla with strawberry frosting and chocolate with chocolate frosting.... Can you tell which one Bailie liked most?

Since Halloween is coming up, I was thinking about Bailie's first Halloween as Tinkerbell and how tiny and adorable she was. Along with the wings, headband, bracelet, and wand, I put little sparkly stars by her eyes... That was such a fun day! I LOVE dressing my baby up.

This year we are going to be in California for Deveren's best friends' wedding. I will post some pictures of Bailie in her costume when we get back... but this year she is going to be a dog. She is so excited to wear it! She loves dogs and wants to wear her cute comstume all the time.

It's Just One of Those Days

For some reason Bailie woke up at 6 am this morning and kept saying "eat". So I fed her breakfast, and laid her back down because she was acting tired... She didn't go back to sleep which was frustrating... But I just had to deal with it.
I don't know how, but every once in a while she has her days where she knows EXACTLY how to push my buttons... TODAY IS THE DAY!! She has been in timeout a number of times already and she is still pushing away! I know kids aren't super patient, but Bailie is pretty good in that area... Usually. Today, when she wants something, you better get it for her NOW. She has dumped out all of her toys a few times, spit out apple pieces all over the house, emptied the laundry basket of clean, folded clothes, dug in the garbage and thrown stuff out onto the floor, and she keeps changing the channel (even though she is watching something that she wants to watch) and then cries because she wants it back to the previous channel. My heavens child! I love you but give Mommy a break!
And of course, Dev is working today so he can't help me out....

Monsters Inc.

Bailie has gotten to that age where she is actually interested in watching more than 3 seconds of a show or movie. I put on Monsters Inc. for her to see if she would watch it, because my nephew watches it all the time, and she really liked it! She watched the whole movie and only got up a couple times! Today we have already watched it twice! (It's also nice because when she watches it I can get some stuff done around the house! Yea for me!!)

Spoiled

Ok so I can't say enough good things about my new favorite thing! It's called a Miche Bag and it is a handbag with interchangeable shells! I was introduced to them at Swiss Days because it was the booth next to ours. They really are so cool! I'm just sad that I didn't think of this! The shells are magnetic, but they stay on the bags really well... Anyway, the lady that owns the company really wanted a sculpture for her husband, so guess who got more trade??? ME

I love trade.... So I ended up getting a brown bag and a black bag and a bunch of shells!

I am so spoiled!!!

Lake Powell Baby!!

Lake Powell..... aka Heaven. It is so beautiful there! We took a random spur-of-the-moment trip down there with Billy, Katherine, and the Stronks family for a few days. The weather was perfect, Bailie was really good, and it was an all around fabulous vacation! Here are some fun pictures of our trip!
